A light turnout for today although the weather was actually great! Our lone VA turnout was none other than Tony and his Aunt! He asked if our MAZOC President was going to bless us with his presence but sadly I had to inform him that if he had made the Gordon Biersch meet he would have seen him.:bowrofl:
Regardless, Ryan, Ron, Tony and his Aunt, Patricia and myself hung out for a while and then departed to enjoy the rest of our day. Here are some photos of the turnout: The cars that made it today: Ryan, Ron, Jon, Tony/Aunt http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1826.jpg All parked nicely in a row. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1820.jpg The Smurf dropped. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1816.jpg Another angle looking down the front row. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1825.jpg A good shot showing the difference of Tony's Ab-flug German rear bumber compared to the stock ones we have. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1821.jpg We actually had it dropped further. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1817.jpg Ryan's very clean ride. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1830.jpg Ron's MB Z. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1829.jpg Jon's Dark Knight. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1828.jpg Tony's Smurf Version 3.0 http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/...t/DSCN1827.jpg |
I will be in ffx next weekend and will try to be in md the following weekend. I would have come today but had to go to the office to finish getting ready for our audit.

Great pics Jon!
My drag strip day was a big waste of time and money. Couldn't get good traction off the line so my time wasn't good but my trap speed was. My best runs were 13.27 @108.6 and 13.19 @ 107.4 (after I lowered the rear tire pressure). I think the new tires might have something to do with it since I've never had issues with my 60' times before. Also, there was some event going on there so it was really packed. I had to wait like an hour in between runs and it was only getting more and more busy so I left after 3 hrs of being there. I think I will try going to Capitol Raceway sometime in November. Look out for the thread if you're interested in going. Quote:
