LoL... that is what 6th gear is for, 28mpg...

I just could not get past the crap interior...

birdmanx1 08-12-2011 09:58 PM

Ah! I couldn't get past the interior as well and pointed out to the salesman that pretty all GM cars have the same dull boring interior.

Going through the gears in that car in street driving would seem boring to me in that car. If you floor it in first you are probably doing 40+ already. That doesn't leave much to do after that unless you want to do 160 all the time ;) In summary it is a car that's way too powerful for street driving.

That just means you have to be extra careful about the po-po's :stirthepot:

I had a great time today! Huge turnout!

It was great meeting some new faces and our regular crew as well. It's always a pleasure to hang with you guys.

Here are some pictures. I didn't get pictures of Mike's Z, as he had to leave early.

1. The Passion Wagon

2. Mark and his very nice Hyundai GenCoupe Track

3. Ryan's 40th, my Chiana, Jon, and Akbar

4. You can see a bit of Bertaut's Z, Even make out Kirkster's new wheels, and then you have Chris, Ron, and another gentleman's Z (whose name I forget, I'm very sorry). The Acura belongs to a prospective Z owner who will be buying a Nismo soon!

5. Same group, but you can now see Shahid's car.

7. Pancakes... Pancakes that someone did not show up to enjoy. :shakes head:

I drove through it on 895. Seriously, it was a hydroplaning adventure.

The Forgestar F14's on Mike's car were :yum:

Might have to buy those instead of Kirk's wheels. :rofl2:

b1adesofcha0s 08-13-2011 01:05 PM

I'm seriously considering getting those now too. Either those or a set of SP wheels.
