The media is jumping all over the 48 team about not adapting to the spoiler... BS. They have run really well they have just had some issues keep them from getting the results you'd expect. They are fine and as long as they are in the top 12 come race 26, then they will go on to win #5. It's just the way the world works. I'm sure the #48 will win 8 in a row then he'll go to F1 and be the first American to win a world championship since Phil Hill.

It was a good day of racing. Too bad the 1 car didn't win tonight for the Ganassi Indy/Charlotte sweep but P2 isn't that bad. Can't believe the 18 rallied back to finish 3rd after the damage on pit road.

I did finish spraying my new engine cover, though, and it looks really nice. I need to do a little touch up with a brush but it looks pretty awesome.

Send a picture of your engine cover when you get a chance.

Will do. It's really easy so I figure if you guys want them done I could have a go at it. Since Tony gave me his I have a fresh spare in case I screw anything up. A white cover would look nice on a white car! :tup:

It was pretty easy. I have to take it off though to finish it. It's tough to get the spray into the little groove between the painted part and the black part, so I have to get in there with a fine brush to completely finish it.

I used a 500 degree gloss red engine paint, so it should hold up to the engine bay heat pretty nicely. :)
