Once upon a time, we kept the silly/ghey stuff in a separate thread. Then it eventually showed up in here. Then someone freaked out, and we separated it again. But later it just came back.

I don't know if it's a battle that can/should be won.

They have a salient point, though. If we prattle on for pages at a time with silly jokes, details about upcoming meets get lost, and this is the thread to come and find those details.

Then again, this was also before we had the meetup page.
