Scratch that about Tischer...went to pick up my car today from Tischer and it had significant paint defects so I had to reject delivery. So depressing. They will not honor their price to order me a new one so screw 'em. Going else where.

the passenger side rear quarter panel had 5-7 significant blotches on it. You'd have to be blind not to see it, especially on a black car. It was clear that something had happened to the car in transport to the dealership and someone along the line had tried to fix it as you could see wet sanding type marks all over it. Since it was clearcoat failure and the fact I would have had diminished value right off the bat I had to reject it. There were scrates thru the clearcoat on the trunk too but if that was the only issue I would've taken it.

I know crap happens to cars in transport on the boat, on the dock, on the trucks etc so I was very understanding. What I was not understanding of was the fact that they would not order me a new one at the agreed to price All along it was assumed they would have to order me a car from the factory since the options I wanted seemed to be non-existent in the cars that were already delivered to this coast. They had managed to find this one on the dock or some surplus non-allocated stock (now I know why it wasn't allocated!) so they got it quickly. Not my fault it was screwed up so in my opinion they should have rejected on their own accord and ordered me another one, especially considering I had given them a deposit. Very poor customer service IMO.

The sales guy was understanding but his mgr, Bob, was a tool.

Thanks!!

The guy, Bob, at Tischer actually recommended Altered Atmosphere for mods, saying you guys are the only ones that Nissan recognizes for warranty purposes. Is that true?

He gave me the owner's card but it's at home. I've been there before to buy some stuff for my previous cars so I'm sure I'll be dropping by at some point again to check on Z stuff...twin turbo comes to mind so hook a girl up dude!!!

Werd! We'd love to TT a 370. We've done two G37s already, so this would be very familiar territory as they share the same engine. And as far as the Nissan warranty, I believe this is true. We work closely with a couple of local Nissan dealers, Tischer included, and we've built good relationships with them. Good guys at Tischer, they're really cool over there. That's where we got our latest shop car! (Check sig )

We'll be having an open house/dyno day next month, so you'll have the chance to meet the staff here and tour our facility, check out the shop cars and current builds, and a couple of dyno runs if you'd like to see the power your car is putting down! I'll be posting more info on this within the next few days!
