Is there anyone in Richmond, Virginia that can help me install my high flow cats

It's a pretty straight forward install. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX-0E9iPArs with one person it usually takes less than an hour, even less if you have pretty good tools.

I gave it a shot, the driver side engine bay boltet out safely the passenger side snapped in the middle I think it will be fine, all the ypipe bolt stripped and there is one bolt that gave me hell it was the one right next to the steering rack could find the right tool for it.
I am still willing to pay for someone to help me out Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

For the bolt by the steering linkage, you'll need an 3 feet worth of 1/2 inch extensions, two impact swivel joints, and a breaker bar. Soak the bolt in PBlaster for a day, spray every 3 hours. Play around with how you connect all the extensions and swivels to make the proper Frankentool. You'll go in through the front of the engine bay.

Single hex impact grade sockets from the start. This minimizes deformation of the nuts and bolts heads.

You will also need these to remove the demon bolt(the one by the steering column): single hex impact socket, 3" 3/8" extension (to get around the steering column), 3/8" to 1/2" impact grade adapter, 1/2" extensions, and a heavy duty breaker bar. (soak the bolts in PB Blaster or equivalent for a few hours to a day if needed)
Apply pressure straight and constant, it should come loose without stripping or snapping. Just a side note, and not to derail this thread, the gaskets that come with the Z1 Test Pipes, are absolute garbage! I had blow by both before and after the pipes. make sure you get a good set of gaskets. |
I was able to to get it from the wheel well using a wrench ratchet
