i've been around plenty of civic-type owners and such and always laugh at the real "rice" cars. had a friend that thought his 1.3 crx was the fastest thing on the road. then i pulled on him using 4th gear at 40mph. it does seem to waver off when you get up a little higher in the price, but you'll still see some here and there. there's a guy in my ZClub that i would definitely consider an enthusiast; however, his Z is very gaudy and i find it ugly. it's his preference, and he's spent a lot of time doing the work and is proud of it, so i can't fault him for it.
