Yah, the car is going in to the shop to get every assessed as far as internal damages from the way back from Zdayz. I hit a massive sinkhole and bottomed out
Hahah I didn't even notice that your flanges are shaved down to exhaust pipes lol that's pretty bad, could lead to the exhaust leaking if you continue to scrape in that spot, you should have a shop take a look it to see if they can do something
I don't know what your definition of "bad" is but to me, joints that are scraped flat all the way to wheee the tubing starts... is what I'd consider bad lol
Thanks for the pictures! yours don't look too bad, I was expecting crushed or dented pipes. I already have similar scrapes on my exhaust from the previous owner.
Anyone is gonna have that problem with that exhaust. It seems like it may be a V1 because I have scuff marks (major scuff marks) in those same spots. I would attach pics here but I can't. If you pm me you e-mail or #, I can shoot those over to you, then take new pics of the cat itself - not just the exhaust damage - when I get home
Yea, I can imagine. The Ark came in two days ago and it already has some scrape marks on the mid pipe, and the metal weave on the flex section show some damage so I'm just worry this one will sit/sag pretty low and the damage will only get worst because the places that I have to drive through. I may just sell it to someone else who won't have this problem.
If you've got the version 1, then yes, you will scrape. If you got the version 2, then it may be slightly higher. In mine (v1), the joints actually hang lower. I'll get a pic for you when I get home... You'll see how trashed they are at this point
If you mean your exhaust, then no, the angles in your album doesn't show what I'm looking for, I wanted to see if your mid pipe and y pipe is hanging too low because I have to go through some steep *** speed bumps at my mom's apt. and I'm talking like 4-5" tall speed bumps. My front chin spoiler is already about half fallen off from snagging on those suckers.
