thanks man. guess ill buy new ones, the kenwood P709 is the newer one, and since the P708 sounded damn amazing, think ill get the newer one. but it has crutchfield says the peak power is 240 and best buy says its 280? so wth? the older model was 280, so why would the newer one be 240? which site has the real peak power?
If you want to take the time and hunt down the exact crossovers of those speakers and the tweeters than yes you can use them. However depending on how old they are you may just want to buy a new set. I know if you only have the woofers than your going to need the crossover and the tweeters. And if you only have the tweeters your going to need the crossovers and the woofers.
You do not want to mix a different brand or even a different crossover with your speakers because you may damage them. Each crossover filters and sends different sets fo frequencies.
