Yea, I knew ride quality would suffer. However, I do love that sensation of sticking to the road even if it means an extra bump or two. This is my DD, so I may not go that route. I like the way the HR springs look, so that may be what I look into. I may yet take you up on the ride though cause I do want to know what that FI sounds like. Thanks.
You feel every pebble in ur kidneys and ur butthole will pucker everytime you see uneven pavement lol. yes, our streets totally suck. I had to play with the settings abit. I really wanted ultra low but quickly realized in our neck of the woods not a good idea. I have it dialed in at medium...took about a week to get use to it. Now it all just feels 'normal'. On the interstate, awesome but in town, not so much. coming from a G35 sport lowered on eibachs i don't know what a 'comfortable' ride is. coils/springs your gonna comprise on ride quality...but the z never drove smooth to me from day one. if you want to see how it rides, I can take you out on some roads so you can see what you will be giving up in terms of comfort atleast with my brand other brands may ride better...It isn't my daily driver so it's definitely liveable for me, I drive a Honda accord 3/4 days a week. slow but comfy
Tint Masters off Capital Circle NW. 942-5059-Derrick is the owner/installer. Been using him since 1995 great guy and does great work. I will say that due to the lowering of the Z's window upon entry the corners have rolled up. So annoying! So I'm to take it back to him next Tuesday for him to redo.
borderbob, I'm headed to Moultrie, Ga sunday with some borderline members for some autocrossing. let me know if you want to go. it will be my first time...so excited.
Cool! There is a Z/G Tally group but I haven't hooked up with them yet. I just joined them on FB. I did do a Florida/Georgia run on Sunday with the Borderline group ( I was the only Z, but a great group of guys/gals with fun cars. Very, very young crowd but I was desperate to really push the Z in some open country. It handled amazingly...3 digits for about 2 hours. Definitely going to need some new tires soon. I will definitely let you know when the next Z/G meet will be!!! Welcome to the family!!!
