Sick mod. Question, does the iPad come out/in easily? Also, where did you get the frame to hold it in?

Yeah it comes out really easy. I had it custom built for it. I read a lot of forums sayin that the iPad is too large for the car, but it worked out really well and I find it's perfect size. I also had the front and rear laser detector and laser jammers built into the dash.

This is AWESOME!! can you provide details on where you got the frame to hole the ipad also how is the sound quality.. do your car speakers get used at all?

I had the dash piece custom made. I have recently uninstalled the entire setup as it was very poorly done. Very unprofessional. But yes, the audio was basically the same as the stock as it used all the car speakers. They did have to add in another system as the stock Bose system does not allow for something like this on its own. So they installed the "kicker" system and amp. The issue with sound is you can't control the sound with the iPad, it had to be controlled by the kicker control system. And you couldn't feather the sound very well. It's either real quiet or too loud. I am going to have another shop redo this idea once summer comes. But this time have the iPad enclosed and have a cleaner look. Thanks for your interest.
