Yes there is more you have to ask for it. Only works when you turn off VDC on whatever map he puts it on. I have a 7AT also.

Whats the purpose in tinting rear lights .......... look cool and make it harder for us old farts to figure out you've put your foot on the brake pedal ?? Make it harder to see your tail lights in...

If you go to a tinter who knows how to deal with this it's not a problem...The tint needs to extend below the seal.
