Hey there, umm do you have a name or do you prefer that I call you Warbird? lol Wow 140 huh, well I haven't had the gut to pump up my Nis to that level yet. I have do many mods to her though, carbon fiber engine bay covers, red radiator hoses & air hoses, red GTR start/stop button. Actually, I don't suggest the Carbon Fiber covers, for the $650 bucks they seem to be a little cheap looking for my tastes. The next big mod I plan on making will be the audio system, I just can't believe that Nissan would put their lowest quality stereo in the top end Z, oh well, I'll be changing that issue very soon. Overall I would say my biggest complaint is the MB color of my Nis, it's a total bitch to maintain and shows EVERYTHING. Guess i'm just to anal about the apperance, or at least my wife keeps telling me I am anyways lol. Hope all is well with you!.... Tim

Hey there, how's it going, has the weather improved in your area? Well, I had a red Toyota Solara for the last 7 years before my Z and it was MUCH easier to take care of then my black Z. People always commented on how clean my Toyota was, but well, I'll put it this way, it didn't show spots like my black Z does lol. Anyway, hope things are going good, drop a couple lines when you get a chance. Take care!

We have been getting a lot of rain here in NC for the last week or so. I have only washed my car once! I have been reading a lot of the threads about detailing. I got one of those buckets with the grit guard and some microfiber drying towels, trying hard to avoid the "swirls". Hopefully I will get to clean it up this weekend so I can post some pics on the site!!

Hey Tim!! Yeah I am still enjoying it...a bit perplexed at times with it though. I dont know if it my imagination or what, but sometimes it feels sluggish and sometimes it feels like it can take off. I just broke 1k miles so I have not really revved it past 4k, but everything I see on the forum says the Z needs to rev. Coming out of 3rd to 4th is always fun, but from stand still revving to 4k coming out of 1st I am really not impressed. I know its not a GTR, but I keep hearing folks talking about 4.5 0-60 times, I dont think mine is seeing that. Maybe I'm just gripeing a bit.
She handles like a beast though! Funny thing is I still cant wait to drive it every morning to work!! Once I upgrade that crappy audio system it will be like hitting the lotto everyday!!!
I know your heart sank when you thought you messed up with the compound!! Glad it all turned out OK!! TTYL!!!

How's it going, enjoying your new Nismo? I know I sure LOVE mine, but wow, MB is a full time job taking care of whew! I made the mistake the other day of using Mequires Ultimate Compound on my roof (thank god it was only the roof) and well, THAT was a mistake. For one I didn't follow the instructions and applied it, let it dry, then took it off and oh boy it looked like I used sand paper on it, I was nearly SICK! Although fortunately I applied Mequires NXT wax last night and it looks beautiful again. Anyways, just thought I would touch base with you to see if you had any issues come up with your Z.
