yea, that makes sense. the altima is VERY cushy stock, where as the Z isn't. After driving my Z for a few weeks, i drove my altima around the block before i sold it. That thing felt like a boat. I felt like it was just lumbering from side to side in turns, and the steering was SO loose compared to the Z. i could use my pinky to turn the wheel.

yeah when I got eibachs on my altima it became a lot harsher, but on the Z it's the opposite.

interesting. i would have thought the ride would be harsher with springs.

bought tein springs, they are pretty cheap brand new on ebay. the drop is perfect for me, not too low, and no wheel gap. the ride is a lot smoother now, bumps aren't as harsh as they were on the OEM springs. didn't get a kit, and I'm gonna wait a couple weeks for the springs to completely settle before I go in for an alignment. I think it should be fine, no immediate tire wear as of yet.

thanks man. yea most of the people with the big lips are running 20's. what brand of springs did you use to lower? are you running a camber kit? if not, how's your tire wear

i lowered mine and love how the ride feels now. i'm just not used to seeing lipped wheels with beefy tires heh. wheels look sick tho, congrats!

at first i didn't plan on lowering my car, so i wanted to go with the nismo stock tire sizes (although i went with 255 up front) so that it would eliminate some of the gap. plus, i wanted to stay at the same overall tire diamter (or as close as possible). Once i lower, i'll see how it looks, and then when these wear out i'll think about a lower profile. I dunno why, but i kind of like the beefier tire on the 19.
