My opinion.. I'm trying to figure out how to justify owning two sports cars now.. I'm really liking the Proto. No way I'm ditching my 350 that I've owned and modded ever since buying new in 2006....

Yes, I should have further clarified in my reply. Due to the rotor thickness - they do not have much more life in them. Thanks again though. Good to have this info in the thread too.

do some regular street driving, couple hundred miles, normal braking with those carbotech on.. they may be harsh enough to clean the rotors for you. They'll sound like a freight train once clean.....

I drive my car to and from the track.. if it still goes and stops after track day, I'm good to go. Then the cycle starts over again before the next track day. :)

The issue with that is the other pad material left on the rotor when you switch. I've had issues where my pads and rotors kind of looked like the OPs (not quite that bad) when switching from street...
