The $80 difference is because the more expensive ones ($299) are actually mufflers, the other ones are just straight pipes with tips

I actually found the the answer on another forum...those exhaust dampers on the stock y pipe helps cancel it out, though I already junked the stock pipes so ill just order a set, they're cheap at $25...

Thats the issue, because the tips themselves are long, plus the length of pipe between the tips and canisters isn't much (see pic), it might be easier to buy shorter tips... 88005 The tips...

Yeah same here, even my 350z I had it flushed at 65,000 miles... but i'm hesitant, the one dealer basically said to me the transmission would fail/need replaced before the fluid would ever need...
