I removed it but didn't like the free end-play without any spring, so I found a much softer one to put back in.

I did this mod years ago on my '09. Got my '14 and was like WTF, this is crap, had to do it again. Great great mod that actually gives you tangible results.

G'z. You guys are going to butcher and destroy the bracket/clevis that way! You're supposed to unload the spring by depressing the pedal. The pin slide right out with minimal effort.
