Steintrek

On April 16 I will leave Queens, NY to drive all 48 continuous States in my 2011 silver 370z sport 6M. I've already started blogging at Steintrek | My dream trip | April 16 departure | @steintrek.
Three months ago I was on the subway to work, which I never had the passion for. I decided right then, I can't do this anymore and quit that day. It was not a magical movie moment and I really had to make some hard choices. The money I had been saving for a down payment on a house is how I am financing this trip. Gas for the z, food, Cobra health care, and motels when I'm not camping can be thousands a month. But there will always be houses to be bought. I'll never be this young again (not so young, 43). And driving and this country are just the best.
