I see. Luckily I live in podunk AL and rarely get caught in traffic, so I don't anticipate that being too much of an issue for me. Once I get fresh rubber I think I'm going to jump on that cooler with a thermostatic plate in case. Although it's typically warm enough when I drive the car that I may not even need one. Got a weird technical question for you - with the AE oil cooler, did you notice any other heat issues such as higher coolant temps with such a large core across the bottom of the vehicle?
