heres a picture of the back for those interested. its fairly simple but very strong. the clips sit on a carbon pedestal and are secured into place with an epoxy putty

I originally planned on just doing this for myself as a cheaper alternative than buying from elsewhere, as it was significantly cheaper. But I actually enjoy doing this and wouldn't mind making parts...
