I was on yesterday at 8:30 to 11. Bought my brand-spanking new CN9-AL (ER PPC, ER LL, 2 MLas) and whooped *** with it. Hawk was struggling with his phract, and Ruff was whoring his Misery as usual

Talked to Ruff, Hawk, and TradeMark a bit yesterday, they were explaining the new NAIS stuff. So looks like it'll be a while before I'm fully HHoD

You talking about Hawk? He is a pretty cool dude to drop with. Thought you meant Falconlord at first. What time were you on?

i know but i get lots of cbills farming damage. if i were playing with HHoD i could care less; we win the round, that's the end of discussion.

(also, my damage was high because i was PUG dropped with 7 assault mechs vs. 7 assaults and a jenner. i had plenty to play with.)

Not to take away anything from your performance, but people really overate damage done. You can get ridiculous amounts of damage done if you blow off every component, but its typically much easier to just focus fire and blow out the CT. I actually prefer to look at the score (how many deaths per team) and then compare that with how much damage was done. The lower the damage, the better the focus fire, the better the performance.

lol I guess some people are like that. I was so confused when I saw his IFF turn red...then realized he died two squares away from me and Ruff

I PUG'd afterwards with a modified YLW runout...21 rounds of ammo, almost max armor, 265 std engine...and dished out 3 kills and 750+ points of damage. i was quite proud of myself

Spiders can be ROUGH in a medium mech. Even some heavies can get picked apart if you run low amounts of armor and get off on your own.

I wouldn't be too concerned about leaving Calli on his own. He kept getting himself separated from us when I was playing with them. Died a couple times because of it. Considering what you were running, playing guard and close range spotter for the Stalkers was a better setup anyway.

I strayed too far from Call's Dragon a lot, chasing Jenners away, and he got picked off twice before he left for the evening.

I did a lot better watching the Miseries whoop everything in sight. Ruff's 4 ER-PPC Misery + AC/20 YLW = assault mechs going down FAST.

I'm going to try and build an ER PPC / ER LL CN9-AL brawler, take advantage of the ionization a little.

We got ROASTED the last map I played. The entire other side I think was on TS or something, we got shattered. Lost a Stalker before we ever got an Alpha target. Firebrand with twin Gauss, I think.

And a spider kicked my ***

Wait....pissed off the Dragons? I'm confused.

And Centi's are pretty cool. I have run mine a handful of times and am starting to adjust to its play style. How did you guys do last night?

I think I pissed off your Dragons haha. Can't believe my YLW is slower than a Flame.

Just grabbed a CN9-AL so I can fiddle with that. I think HHoD is now pretty clear I'm a Centurion pilot until the Shadow Hawk arrives.
