You can still do several coats, if you spray your last coat wet and pull the tape immediately. It works.

yea you're right. it'd be tough to make it work with 4-5 coats with dry time in between. my technique includes minimal dry time and only 3 coats; one super light w/ 30 secs dry time, one to get...

Have you checked out Fonzi's tips/dipyourcar on YT? He has some great tips on how to apply plasti dip and get clean breaks/separation.
