To get the map light cover off just take a flathead screwdriver and put one piece of masking tape on the end. Then just pop the cover off from the inside section of the cover. Each cover is only held on by 4 clips. They just pop on and off.
Right around 15k on them if they were the only wheels on the car before I got her. I swapped out wheels about 2 weeks after I got her. Can't do $1k though, sorry.
