    To be a cheap track car, it needs light weight and low power, lead to cheap consumables (Pads, tires, small wheels, etc). Z doesn't that bill.

    Mazda has gotten better over this years though since they fortunately dropped Ford like a bad hat. Although the 370Z is in a class by itself really closely comparing to the older model Porsche Boxer...

    I can say with experience that the lighter brakes (2 piece rotors) lighter wheels and lighter tires feel like I freed up some pep and agility in the car. I dont know that it was "worth the money"...
