Mine did the same thing upon removal and replacement of the shifter trim. After taking it back apart to see why it wouldn't work, finding nothing wrong, and reinstalling, it has worked fine ever...

i had the same problem when i installed my head unit. it has something to do with improper seating of the button. I just had nissan take care of it for me during an oilchange.

Since the problem cropped up immediately after installing the new HU, I suspect a loose connector or a cut wire. Could be the switch - easy enough to check with an ohmmeter. I don't recall reading...

Can't comment on it that well, but i have a friend with a similar WRX, his is louder than my 350 on cold start. I'd say you'll be fine, i leave around 6am and no one has complained...

Cold start can be a bit loud in a garage setting with the E370/ART combo - I haven't had complaints yet, but sometimes feel a little guilty if its real early :rolleyes: Can't believe its been 2...
