Well after taking my old HU out and installing the new one, I can say this much, I am never going to big business installers to get something done ever again. I don't know if it was lack of research skills, common sense or just the ability to take a little pride in your work, but it is pretty clear to me now that I am going to have to do everything myself. Which is kinda great, I love to learn new things.

I would like to take the time to thank everyone on this forum for sharing, even just a little bit, because it is good to know there are others out there who take pride in what they have. I don't have much in life, and I don't ask for much and it has served me well. I love my Z and its nice to be around others who love theirs just as much

Finally got my AVIC-Z140BH HU today and installed. Took me a whole two hours to do. Luckily I had a AVIC-X940BT already installed. Wires were spliced and swapped for me already, made things really simple. The only complicated thing was getting the PAC SWI working properly. I suppose I wasted more time in research than actually swapping out radios. Pics to come, and my faith in third party installs completely destroyed.

See This Thread for excellent details on setting up your bluetooth and steering controls. Took a little bit to learn how, but I got all my controls working with voice control. Love this HU
