That sounds 100% correct. The Bridgestones are known to have super stiff sidewalls, especially when you go up the performance ladder. So you really don't need much air in them to get stable handling....

If I did not purchase the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 R’s all around for the Z the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires would have been my next choice.

I am on my second set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, great tires for wet/dry, but the car is a summer car, so I currently do not worry about colder weather....

Yup, I also remember static timing, points and condensers! :eek: Octane is not that big of a deal since the ECU made its way into cars.

Remember when Sunoco had custom blending at the pump ? You could go from 190 economy to 260 which was two notches above their 240 which was premium . You could select anything in between in...
