Thanks for the info! The GS is an amazing value. I saw a red one yesterday; what a beauty.

One more thing if you’re looking at purchasing a new Corvette there are really good deals out there. I was able to get 8400.00 off MSRP at Young Chevrolet in Dallas. Out the door price was 50k for my Black 11 GS 6spd 1LT with NPP Dual Mode Exhaust.

On a side note I still haven't put any performance parts on the car. Anytime I think I need headers or an intake I take the Vette out for a shakedown run and grin from ear to ear. The car is so fast and sound amazing I just don’t need to change anything.

The Corvette Grand sport is an amazing car. I have not had one problem and I still love driving it. The car gets a lot of attention probably because of the wide body appearance. I can say this is the best handling and definitely best accelerating car I have ever owned. I had a chance to attend a Mini Driving School at Harris Hill Road in San Macros, Texas four months ago. I learned how to drive the car the right way with an instructor in the car giving me advice on what to do and when. I can even heel toe now! I took the traction control completely off and the car stuck in the corners and the straights like glue on the stock GY Tires. The thing that amazes me most about the car is its ability to be very comfortable and still cut corners and tear up the streets like a mad man. If your thinking about it go for it you will not regret purchasing a Corvette Grand sport. I think it is best of both worlds great handling and acceleration and very comfortable ride.

I'm interested in a GS and would like to know what your experience has been? I traded my 370Z in for a '11 Mustang 5.0 for my wife. It is a powerful car, but lacks the dynamics of the Z. You noted the ride was much better in the GS along with improved handling. Do you still feel the same about the car? Have any problems appeared (reliablity/rattles/noise)?
