For the 370z i would have to finance though. I was hoping a good running gtr would be about 10-15k. It seems its way out of my price range unless i can find one at a dealership but that will probably cost wellover 50k (just like supras). I can finance for 35k or buy for like 8-10k. So for now it looks like i will have to get a 300zx. Later i can get a gtr. Thank you for your help.

Getting one here in the U.S. I will have to do a little research on for you. In Japan the 32 and 33 are a dime a dozen. Gotta remember the engine between the 33/34....no difference. In fact the 32 33 34 all have the same engine. An RB 26 is an RB 26 no matter what car its in. Of course the big diff between the three are the size, weight, and computer controls over the entire car. Honestly if you want a track car, look for some unfortunate individual who has a 33 with engine problems. Pick the car up cheap, then order a TRB500 from Tomei. Its a crate engine RB26 N1 base block with all of tomei's internals. And I mean ALL of their internals. Comes with HKS twin sports turbines and is guaranteed to give you 500hp to the wheels. Thats running about 1.0 boost. Engine itself can probably run 1.5 all day with no problem. Engine cost about 15K, but finding a R32 or R33 for 20K or less is easy. Drop another 15 on the engine and you havent even matched the price of a 370................and youve got a car that will be a track monster.

how do i go about shopping for a gtr. i know there are rwd and awd versions with the awd seeming to be way more costly than the rwd version. whats the starting price for one. and what information performance wise can you give me. im looking at either r33 or r34's. what's better? and what makes it better? any information will be extremely helpful.

No question. Get the GT-R. The RB 26 is easy to work on, the car is 4 wd and basically a track monster. Change your injectors and bolt on some HKS 2530's and your sitting at 500hp with ease. The engine response and car handling are unmatched by any other car compared to the GT-R. With the least amount of money overall spent.

okay two questions for you. first what and how much would it take do you think to make a 300zxtt run like a 370z on the track? and i saw some gtr's for like 15k. which is better a 300zxtt or skyline gtr? i want either a 300zxtt, 370z, or gtr. so whats the best for the track and what would i be looking at cost wise to upgrade the 300zxtt or the skyline to run like a 370z?
