they're called bell housings. they came that way along with the conversion kit from project mu

I think you are refering to the rotor hats. A bell housing is the part of the transmission that covers the clutch and flywheel. Due to it resembling a bell if you stood the trans up flat the inside would be open like a bell. Were you going for Miami dolphins colors by chance? Wondering if your a fan or coincidence?

project mu's site and the conversion package list calls them "bell housings" maybe its a japanese term...the teal is project mu's brand color and the orange was a custom color made by project mu. the bbk came off my 350z where the bell housings were black. my bro was able to convince project mu to selling me a conversion kit which landed me the teal bell housings.
