Hi MrAurora,
I just got a used 2009 370Z with 26750 miles about 2 weeks ago (Jan. 26). Last Monday, I had the symptoms of the famous failed slave cylinder. I also noticed black hydrolic fluid in the master reservoir. The car was originally sold 6/16/2009, which means the powertrain warrantee is good until 6/16/2014 (confirmed by Nissan).
I read about your success with getting your CSC covered under the powertrain warrantee and was wondering if you would be good enough to supply me with your case number and any other details or advice on getting Nissan to honor this repair. I have looked up the components in the Nissan eStore and they are in fact listed under the powertrain section.
I would really appreciate your help! There saying its going to be a $2500-$3000 repair! I had the car 2 weeks!
