Hey Modshack. I did my oil cooler install many years ago based on your write-up. It's been working just fine, although sometimes driven hard at the track, temps could still go up high enough to require me to take a break before the session is over. My car is at a shop now and the guy working on it says the cooler should never be installed with the fittings facing down. Is this true?? I'll ask him in more detail when I get there, but over the phone he said it's not right and needs to be corrected so that the fittings face up. I've never heard this before. What do you think??

Just curious where you got the flanges for the fang vent mod, I would like to try duplicating your results but not too sure where to get the materials.

I saw a post you made on a thread where it was discussing short throw shifters. I also saw your custom redline boot you had installed on your Z with a new knob. I ordered an AMS short throw and I have the BLOX torch blue shift ball for it. I emailed them and asked about the two section boot as you have and the factory nissan has. However in an email that he sent back he asked me what circumfrence I need. I would assume it would be the same circumfrence as the shaft that has the threads. Is this what you used?

    Thanks for the trouble

Hey Modshack, I have seen almost all your posts and I really admire your knowledge in intakes! I have a question for you. I am getting K&N drop-ins on my stock intake system. Do you think this $100 is a good investment? Will I be able to feel any difference than stock air filters? The stock filters looks remarkably clean even after 10,000 miles!
    Thanks
    kevin
