spraying the plasti dip straight on the door handle doest effect the button at all? Does everything still work as its supposed to.

no ill-effects, the button works just fine. To be honest, I've only ever used the passenger side button once. and that was right after the plasti-dipped dried. The drivers side, i use all the time and everything is good
