I have 2 guys down here i trust. they both do good work but they work slowly.

yea it does get water in it. The hood acually comes with drip pans. If you look on my photo album of when I first had the hood painted youll see the red drip pans underneath. You can put a towel in there from the bottom that will not allow water in. The problem came when I started running big power. I needed all the cooling I could get so I removed the drip pans permanently and the cooling effect has tripled. Of course some things come with sacrafice so now when I wash the car I know that I have to get in there and dry everything off. good part is the water dripps to the side of the motor so the engine stays pretty dry. i use the excess water to shine up everything in there anyways.

Just noticed the new album of bodywork...Holy Crap!! Sick!! Who do you trust doing the paint?

Hey Shaw,
a possibly stupid question, but since you have the hood i am looking at getting, does water get into the engine bay through the vents when you wash your car? i didnt look too hard at that when we were at Harolds a while back. Thx.

Had to take mine out to get the wife coffee yesterday...great excuse to just drive on the backroads of covington. My assembly should be in and on by the next meet on the 29th. another one from our group just ordered it also. Has had the car for 3 1/2 years and still hates the clutch. It's his DD across the causeway. Got a few miles on it.

yea thats my daily so its driven every day. Thats why i really want to get this damn clutch assembly on it. Thankfully i live in westwego so its not that much crazy stop and go driving.
