So I put my complaint by calling Nissan Customer Affairs at 1-800-Nissan-1 then pressing 7. One customer service representative (Located in the Philippines of course) opened my case and filed...

I'm thinking the course of action from Nissan is nadda until people start getting into wrecks. I don't get with the price of a brand new Z climbing you would think they'd switch to an improved CSC...

This is a common problem ever since Nissan switched over to these awesome Valeo-designed CSC in 2007 with the HR engine (e.g., 2007 350Z/G onwards). I sorta miss the old external slave and fork.

I like your complaint and thank you sir for doing that. This is so frustrating to the point that I just want to go ahead and buy the aftermarket CSC, $$$$$ in labor and call it a day. I love my Z but...

We should ALL do the above ^ 1) Complaint and then 2) Call the number. See if 1,000 calls and complaints make NISSAN do something about this known issue.

Five years later and still no recall. People are getting stranded on a weekly basis. Nissan still doesn't give a single **** about Z owners. So as I said it before, **** NISSAN.

Just so I know, what do people do if they get the clutch pedal to the floor? Just trying to prepare for the future. Any quick things to do to get it going again to drive it to the dealership?...

Best preparation is to simply replace it with HD version. Waiting for it to fail will just leave you stranded since there is nothing to do once it starts to let go. But you should pay extra...

It wasn't subtle for me. Backed out of parking lot, and it was feeling fine. Pulled out and got into 2nd, and it failed immediately. I barely had 1" of pressure to get it moving back before stalling...
