Never heard of doing it in third. I was under the impression it was ideal to dyno in whatever gear is closest to 1:1, but some use fourth because the wheel speed in fifth gets pretty high.

I couldn't feel any difference after I did full bolt ons and tune compared to stock. Really didn't feel any faster(louder yes!).... Now what made a huge difference was when I shed about 300lbs off...
