I don't think so. The metal edge is also really sharp. I may put a rubber gasket around the edge. I found this guy on Ebay and he is local to me. He makes these with the 350Z "Z" also.

Yes, i place them in very carefully as to not scratch any plastic interior trim. But they are indeed real metal. That's what I like about them.
