| My $4 sound dampening mod. Trace out the cargo mat onto Owens Corning Insulafoam 3/4". Cut out with about 1/2" margin smaller (so it can fit in easier). Place under cargomat. I saw a reduction in noise from 89 to about 87 db on freeway. Noticeable but not great. You must realize that alot of the noise comes from wheelwell and areas behind/beneath seats. Can't be beat for price though! |
