Hey!
Cams are great, no issues so far, even opposite - I'm very hapy about them! Definitely they are worth it!
The only thing you need to care is a clearance between valve plates and cam knee. It should be adjusted to the same as on your original cams. A well knowledged mechanic would do it without problem.
My mechanic have complaint me that, he cant set the clearance, but after a few telephone calls I was told that, the clearance should only be measured when cams are in seats and are tighten. What he did was - dropped cams and measured the clearance, which is wrong. So we figured it out! I even wrote to Junaichi-San, and he actually told me the same thing, that cams are just "drop-in" and retains all original clearances and supporting springs/plates.
Do the throttle learning procedure after installation, it will help to you VVEL to synchro with new cams and work in normal cycle
Also, keep in mind, that these cams are comes without valve plates and springs, so you leave your OEM ones, which means you can only run you Z within allowable rpm range (don't go 9k))
That's it, enjoy you cams )
If there's anything else I can assist you with, please ask!
