Check your pads after each event, its literally the one thing you can't have wear out! As soon as my pads get to 6mm or less its time for new ones.

I'm sure the AMS hood is going to help but the Trackspec vents are positioned in the center and remove alot of heat. Plus its like 50% less than a CF hood and i'm a cheap *** lol.
