The two separate Hella relay toggles worked independently of the the stock lights, so it was possible to do any sort of lighting combination. The amber fogs worked as a 75-degree spray out to 100 meters, with a sharp top cutoff so you wouldn't have refractions blinding you in actual fog conditions. The spot/driving lights ("aka "pencil beams) were aimed at infinity, and lit the width of a two-lane road and shoulders at 300 meters -- maybe an effective spread of 35 meters at that distance. But the driving lights could reflect things three times farther away, like deer eyes, police cars, and highway signs. |
