    Jay, I think i found the gun metalic Z you were talking about with the white G37. He posted in the introduction section. it is a hunch but I have a strong sense.

    Can u tell me how did you strip those tape on ur rims? the red tape thing. you just peel it off and put it on easily ?

    Yes. Sorry for the late response on the message. Been awhile away. That's right. The car did what it was supposed to do. As the passenger, getting smacked the way we did, the Ford Explorer was going faster than 70, messing with her dogs and not paying all that much attention. But the Police report listed 70. Man, it was a miracle. No bones broken, no injuries of any kind. Just a slight concussion which knocked me out for about half an hour. Not sure if it was the airbags or unless I hit my head against the door. The fact is, this car is incredibly safe. I think. So, I got the new one about 2 weeks after. Nissan worked hard to get me a car as soon as they could. Just got some feelings about ruining a marvelous automobile.

    In response to your question about the taping of headlights for autocrossing or track events. This is done to protect the headlights from any road debris that may get kicked up by the cars running in front of you. The headlights for the 370Z as well as many other sportscars are expensive so its worth a few bucks of tape to give you a little added protection.

    Nope. It's called DIAMOND BLACK in Japan (outside US). If you look at the folder, you'll see it says FAIRLADY Z colors

    It's for the rear diff cooler for "journalist" car.
