I hate those style of fittings, they are notorious for leaking. Personally , I would wash her down, brake kleen the general area you think the leak is coming from, wipe it down and fire her up...

I covered up with a dash mat that shows as micro suede. Not worth the time, effort, nor cost of any type of replacement in a 11 year old car, IMO.
