thanks for the info, I'm gonna have to try to figure out the exact steps for this. I've been going crazy with this header install, it's turned into an absolute nightmare. I won't be working on my car anymore for a bit until I can get all the frustration out of my system thanks again!

Hey Huck, finally got in touch with the body shop and yep, the straight slats were simply cut off....or as they put it.....clipped off the front bumper. Hope this helps.

Huck, I'll have to check with the body shop that did it for me. After suffering an accident that messed up my passenger side front, I decided to have them remove the slats since a new front fender would be needed. I'll let you know what I find out.

Hey man, I've been searching and can't find anything on the subject. Would you mind telling me the general process for how you deleted your grills horizontal slats? It's something I've been wanting to do for a while, but don't know the exact steps on how to get started. Just cut them off and then do lots of light sanding?
