Thanks for the response. The hissing sounds like a common issue. Glad no rasp. Any loss in low end to mid range torque? As for the lip, it was a dealer who sold on eBay for $128 but was only 40 min away so he offered a $96 pick up price. When I got there it was the last one and had a slight blem underneath the lip were no one sees anything. When I complained about it and offered 50 he said the lowest he'll go out the door was 75. Having it painted was more expensive.

I have the non resonated CF TDX from FI on order and will be installed in late oct or Nov week 1. How does your set up perform and sound so far? Any raspiness? Hiss still around? Any low tone/rumble or does it sound like high revving high pitched F1? Not sure if you've seen videos and heard the Motordyne e370 exhaust and compared to FI but any thoughts on this? Thanks Huck.

Actually, if you drive the same as you did before and don't rev it a whole bunch, you will get slightly better gas mileage because your car can breath easier and make more power. Enjoy them, it's a great mod to do!

Hey Huck, I have seen that you did put ur gen 3(stillen) to ur car. I am just wondering if u re wasting more gas or not. I am planning to get one so ur experience is very helpful. thanks

Hey Huck, finally got in touch with the body shop and yep, the straight slats were simply cut off....or as they put it.....clipped off the front bumper. Hope this helps.

Huck, I'll have to check with the body shop that did it for me. After suffering an accident that messed up my passenger side front, I decided to have them remove the slats since a new front fender would be needed. I'll let you know what I find out.
