18K for a cruise!! I thought the two bowls of soup we had the first day in Rome for $36 was bad.but unless the cruise is a month long...that is high.. beyond my pay grade!

I have been doing fine but I was away for the past two weeks in Italy.. What an incredible place!!! If you ever thought of going GO.. beyond my wildest imagination,,.if you like history.. Saw the Colosseum and the ruins of Pompey and the Sisteen chapel, Its incredible to think they build these giant churches and roman temples back so long ago.. I mean they are huge and covered with all kinds of sculpture and paintings...

Several Italians who could not speak english very well recognized me as an American and came up to me saying "Good you kill Osama Bin Ladin...he very bad very bad man!

Got back the other day and got my Z going.. so nice an quiet..and difficult to keep at a reasonable speed...unless you call 100 reasonable!!

Can you elaborate on that a bit? What is a no compromises car?

You might have a laugh at this since you are about my age. ( I am 66) The man across the street about mid 30s or so... has been looking at my car since I got it. Yesterday he came over and asked "How young does that car make you feel? I told him that when I was behind the wheel on an open highway I felt like I was 50 all over again!!

Have been enjoying the car for the first time since I bought it.. The weather is nice.. about 43 degrees and clear skies! Doesnt get much better than that!
Best of all the car is quiet...not like a Mercedes sedan but quiet enough to really enjoy it and not have my ears constantly assaulted!

How you been? I really wish I could drive to Cal and ride that Pacific coast highway again! I am sure there are plenty of good open roads..

Hey what is this I Hear about snow in S Cal?

Actually I did live out west for one year.. USAF at Noton AFB nice and all but the smog was brutal.. Could not take a deep breath! But we had a great time..saw most of the state from San Diego to San Francisco. Loved that Hurst castle! I cant imagine having that kind of money!

Generally we think of bitter cold in winter, (WHAT A BUNCH OF WHIMPS!) mud in spring, ( GOOD FOR GROWING THINGS) humidity in summer ( EVER HEAR OF NATURES SAUNA?)and 3 weeks of glorious colors in the fall. ( NOW YOU'RE TALKING! ) We also think of rust and decay.( TRY RUSTIC AND HISTORIC ) Apart from being glad we live here not there,(KEEP THOSE BIKINI CLAD WOMEN. WE PURITANS PREFER MORE SPIRITUAL VALUES IN A WOMAN.) that about covers it.
