What did you use for the ambient lighting? (led strips)?

i got the lighting strips from auto zone i put them under each side of dash and under rear cover obove storage to light up rear they all are on a switch that i installed opposite 4 way flashers by shifter my car is an auto so there was nothing there ,i just didnt think i wanted them on all the time.does this help you.
