Don't cut the wire, just remove the 10 amp fuse. I did this yesterday, took me about 10 minutes. No more worries.

I would have to agree on the Blizzaks for the snow. I had the Conti DWSs. They were okay but as soon as the snow reached an inch or two, the Z became a death trap again.

^ That's right. You do not skimp on tires. Think about it. The turns, the on and off ramps, the lane changes, the grip, in the rain. PSSs FTW.

You really need to eventually get the PSSs. There is nothing else like them. I went 245/285 a few weeks ago and the experience was mind boggling. I am in Northern Delaware so it hasn't quite warmed...
