Check the SPL spherical bearing (heim joint) alignment on your camber arms, they need to be centered (page 4 of the install guide). Make sure they have not twisted, you could be hearing the bearing...

I went a similar route, I kept the Bose HU and AMP, just changed all the 6 speakers except the sub. I wanted to keep the HU for the time being and focus on other items. Took a chance and it worked...

Before you start replacing items, verify that the switch is bad. Looks like it is held in with one philips screw. Pull it out and jump the wires in the connector to see if everything functions. ...

Verify the switch in picture 2 is functioning. Interior light should turn on and off (about 10 second delay to turn off) when the door is open and you depress and release that switch, same goes...
