Hey man, just wanted to follow up with you on this.

I eventually took my Z to the dealer, they said it was the pass. side throttle body, and replaced it. It still made the noise though, and the only thing the dealer could tell me was "its a sports car man, they make weird noises".

So I think when I get back from this trip im on, im going to go to another dealer and get another opinion. Will update!

Hey man, just found your post from May about the throttle body whine. Just wanna say thanks for the info, my 2014 just started this at 9k miles and I was angry as ****. When I saw your YouTube video I was like THATS IT!

Although, mine starts instantly on start up and doesn't stop unless I turn the car off, then I hear 2 click noises and it stops.

The slight whine from the engine area is coming from the throttle bodies. To confirm, put the car in neutral and see if the whining stops.
